TSH Levels Reduced To Normal In A Year With Homeopathic Treatment
A 46-year-old man, Mr. R.S. (PIN: 33135) visited Borivali branch of Life Force on 11th August 2017 as he was suffering from vitiligo. He started his treatment for Vitiligo, and the doctor advised him to undergo a few blood investigations.
Autoimmune diseases are generally found to be occurring together. During the routine investigations, it was found that Mr. R.S.’s TSH (Thyroid stimulating hormone) was on the higher side. It was 6.03 mIU/ml. The doctor at the branch advised him to start the treatment for Hypothyroidism also. Since the TSH level was not very high, Mr. R.S. wanted to take homeopathic medicines only.
Mr. R.S. started with the treatment for Hypothyroidism on 18th August 2017. It was asymptomatic and was accidentally detected during routine investigations. There was no hair fall, weight gain, or any weakness affecting the patient.
Mr. R.S. had a mixed diet. He would crave to eat spicy food and meat. He did not like sweets. He had the addiction to chew tobacco and had the habit of smoking in the past.
Mr. R.S. used to drink plenty of water and would perspire only on the back. He could not bear a hot climate.
He was working with All India Radio. He stayed with his wife and two children i.e. a son and a daughter and they were studying in the third and sixth standard respectively. He had a happy childhood and was very contented with his life.
He did not suffer from any major diseases in the past. His mother had lumbar spondylitis.
Mr. R.S. was a mild, polite, and confident person. He used to take a little time to mix up with new people. He was anxious about his disease. He did not like when things are not done in his way.
Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed his research-based molecules along with Natrum muriaticum to the patient. Along with this, he was also advised to start with Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D3 supplements as their levels were on the lower side.
Follow-Ups:
There were no changes noticed in the first follow-up on 23rd October 2017. Mr. R.S. was still asymptomatic. He continued taking the medicines.
On 4th December 2017, Mr. R.S. visited the branch for the follow-up again. He was stable and doing fine. Still, there were no symptoms affecting him. There was no weight gain or mood swings. He repeated the TFT (Thyroid function test) and his TSH levels had reduced to 5.6 mIU/ml from the previous 6.03 mIU/ml. It was still slightly on the higher side, but it had reduced within 4 months. Dr. Shah again revised his medicines.
On 15th January 2018, Mr. R.S. visited the branch saying he was feeling better than before. There were still no symptoms of hypothyroidism experienced by him. He continued taking the regular doses of the medicines.
On 3rd March 2018, Mr. R.S. said he is doing fine and feels good overall.
Mr. R.S. reported on 12th April 2018, and there were still no symptoms of hypothyroidism affecting him. He was doing fine and taking his medicines regularly. He was advised to repeat TFT again to check the TSH levels.
Mr. R.S. visited the Borivali branch again on 22nd June 2018. He was doing fine but had not repeated the TFT test. He was advised to get it done at the earliest. He repeated the TFT test on 3rd July 2018 and his TSH was 4.07 mIU/ml. This figure was very much within the normal range of TSH levels. He was delighted.
Mr. R.S. was very happy that, within a year, his TSH levels had come down to normal. From 6.03 mIU/ml, it had reduced to 4.07 mIU/ml. He did not have to take any thyroid supplements nor he suffered from any symptoms in this duration.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathic treatment helps to treat hypothyroidism in a short span without the help of supplements, if it is detected early, and the patient is not dependent on any thyroid supplements.
