Recovery From Long-Standing Tonsillitis Found With Homeopathy At Life Force

An 11-year-old girl, Miss. A. R. (PIN: 38484) visited Life Force Homeopathy on 13^th November 2018 with the complaint of hyperpigmentation in some body areas and long-standing tonsillitis. She was suffering from it since childhood, During her case taking, she mentioned that she was suffering from frequent episodes that used to last for 4-5 days. She always needed an antibiotic to alleviate the episodes. And, it was noticed that her complaints were increasing in progression. The intensity of her complaints was in between moderate to severe.

During the episode, she used to suffer from throat irritation and fever once in 3 months. Her discomforting condition always used to get aggravated after the intake of curd, bananas, and ice-cream, due to exam stress, and the changes in water intake when traveling. She would feel better only after taking allopathic treatment.

After studying her case history in detail, Dr. Shah evaluated the entire case and suggested some investigations and homeopathic treatment for 1 year to the patient.

Follow-Ups:

When she gave her first follow-up on 25^th December 2018, not much improvement was observed, but, on examination, her tonsils’ size appeared smaller than earlier and the color appeared to be normal.

At the second follow-up on 19^th January 2019, she experienced an improvement in her relief in tonsillitis. She had experienced no episodes of tonsillitis. Her tonsils were slightly enlarged but no redness was present.

When she gave the third follow-up on 10^th March 2019, further improvement in her relief in tonsillitis was observed. She had experienced just one episode of it which had settled with antibiotics.

And, as the follows-ups were taken, from the 4^th follow-up to date, the patient did not suffer from any episode of tonsillitis and further did not require any dependency on antibiotics. The patient is thus improving as a whole and is also showing the signs of improvement in the recovery from her hyperpigmentation complaint.

Conclusion:

This case highlights that homeopathy is safe, natural, and can be dispensed to anyone of any age without worrying about the side-effects. It boosts the patient’s body’s immune system. Homeopathic medicines are selected based on the individualization and each case is taken and treated after a thorough history and proper evaluation of the case.
