Alopecia Areata Treated Successfully within a year with Homeopathy

A 36-year-old lady, Mrs. P.P.L. (PIN: 38009) visited Life Force on 20th September 2018 and presented with 2 small bald patches on her temporal and vertex area. The doctor explained to her about alopecia areata. She said that she did not have time for case taking and will visit on 26th September 2018. Again, Mrs. P.P.L. visited Chembur branch of Life Force to start the treatment for Alopecia areata. She had 2 bald patches of 2-3 cm with hair fall of 100 strands per day from 3 months. She was on steroids for the last 2 weeks.

Along with alopecia areata, Mrs. P.P.L. also had stable asymptomatic hypertension and diabetes from the last 8 months. She was on allopathic treatment for both.

Mrs. P.P.L. was a vegetarian. She had craving for chatpata, sour food, and sweets. He did not like to eat spicy food.

Her father suffered from Hypertension, and her mother from Diabetes Mellitus. Her sister was suffering from gastritis.

In the past, Mrs. P.P.L. had suffered from Renal Calculi.

Follow-Ups:

In the first follow-up, on 29th October 2018, Mrs. P.P.L. mentioned that there was a 25% improvement in her recovery from the patch. No new patch had developed, and she was experiencing a recovery from the previous patch.

In January 2019, Mrs. P.P.L. reported that there was a further improvement of about 50% in her recovery from the patch. New hair growth was observed in the bald patch.

In September 2019, Mrs. P.P.L. reported that there was a further improvement of about 90% in her recovery from the patch. Also, new hair growth was observed in the bald patch.

Still, she is continuing with the treatment for complete relief.
