Chronic Asthmatic Bronchitis Of A 15-Year-Old Boy Got Relieved With Homeopathy
A 15-year-old male patient, Mast. S.K. (PIN: 37797) visited Life Force Homeopathy with the complaints of Asthmatic Bronchitis on 25th August 2018.
He was suffering from Asthmatic Bronchitis since childhood and was on inhalers daily. The symptoms that bothered him were wheezing, breathlessness, productive cough with greenish yellowish phlegm, lacrimation from eyes, headache, throat irritation, and, sometimes, fever.
He used to suffer from these episodes once in 1.5 months, and the episode would last for about 15 days.
His complaints would get aggravated after having cold drinks, cold food, and sour things and in the cold and rainy weather.
He was taking Levolin and Seroflow inhalers daily.
He was also suffering from Urticaria (red weals on upper arms, chest, back, and thighs) with itching once in 15-20 days.
He was a vegetarian and had cravings for junk food- chocolates, ice-creams, and sweets. He disliked vegetables.
He was very studious and playful.
After a detailed case taking and analyzing the case thoroughly, he was prescribed research-based medicines for Allergic Bronchitis.
Follow-Ups:
At the first follow-up on 16th October 2018, he reported that there was a mild improvement in his relief in symptoms. No major change had occurred. He was continuing with Levolin and Seroflow inhalers.
On 20th December 2018, he reported that he did not experience episodes of cold in 2 months, and coughing and itchy bumps had fairly decreased. He also had stopped Levolin and Seroflow inhalers.
On 15th April 2019, he said that he was feeling 70% better and had just one attack of a cough and fever in the last month which was severe.
On 15th June 2019, he said that cold, cough and itchy bumps had increased from a month due to the rainy weather. But, he was not taking any inhalers or antibiotics.
On 3rd August 2019, the patient said that he was fine now. He had no episodes in the last month.
On 11th April 2020, the patient said that he was fine. He had only a mild cold and cough occasionally.
The patient was very happy with the treatment he received at Life Force.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy can deal with Allergic conditions, such as Urticaria and Asthmatic Bronchitis, very effectively though they may be chronic persisting for many years.
Homeopathy helps to reduce the dependence on Allopathic inhalers and antibiotics and also reduces the frequency, severity, and recurrence of the disease.
