Mr. A.D.J (Patient Identification Number 14824) visited the clinic for the treatment of Atopic Dermatitis. He was suffering from Atopic Dermatitis since 8 years on his neck, around the mouth, hips and joints. He was not on any conventional treatment. He has taken local steroids in the past, but since the last 1-2 years, he was on Ayurvedic treatment.

He had red inflamed, active lesions mainly on neck region with severe itching. Itching would mainly aggravate in winter season and during stress.

He was also suffering from Vitiligo on lips since 2 years.

His appetite was average and he had marked cravings for sweets. His sleep was sound. He had a habit of tobacco chewing and he occasionally took alcohol.

His childhood was stressful. When he was in the 9th std. his father lost around 15 to 20 lakhs in business and thereafter they suffered financially. His Atopic Dermatitis started during that stressful period of his life. He was aggressive, egoistic and dominating by nature and was very competitive and highly ambitious for his career.

He had a strong family history of skin diseases. His father also suffered from Atopic Dermatitis and mother from vitiligo. His maternal grandfather had diabetes mellitus.

Dr. Rajesh Shah studied his case details and he was prescribed research based homeopathic medicines for Atopic Dermatitis and was also advised to apply moisturizer on the affected areas.

After the medication for 4 months his progress of disease was arrested and there was marked reduction in redness, dryness and in itching by 90%. His Vitiligo was also better to some extent.

He was advised to continue the medicine till complete recovery.
