Hair thinning was more visible at vertex and temples...

A 25 years old young girl (patient identification number 13081) reported to Life Force with complaints of excessive hair loss since 6 months.

She had been diagnosed with a rare disorder called as KI KUCHI FUJIMOTO DISEASE (an auto immune rare disorder which presents as inflammation of lymph nodes) which started after a spike of high grade fever. Hair fall was so extensive and rapid that the patient described it as, " I lost 50% of my hair density in 6 months."

Hair thinning was more visible at vertex and temples.

She had complaint of recurrent headache with dull continuous pain during the day time, which was aggravated after mental exertion and anxiety.

She had marked craving for sweets, spicy food and sea food. She had an aversion to leafy vegetables. Patient could not tolerate draught of cold air.

Emotionally she was a fun loving girl, being a only child. She was very demanding, she had mood swings, she kept changing interest, in career choice, etc. She had a lot of negative emotions after a disappointment in love, patient described it as people treat me like door mat. She was very obsessed with her looks.

Based on the totality Dr Shah prescribed a constitutional medicine.

At the 2 months follow up there was 50% improvement in the hair loss, this time patient visited along with parents who were amused to see some hair re growth in such a short duration.

At 6 months follow up it was difficult to recognize the patient as she had excellent re growth of hair. She was so happy that she herself offered to give her testimonial.
She had complete re-growth.
