A 61 years old clerk expressed his joy as he could do his job without any pain caused due to Psoriatic Arthritis.

61 years old Mr. V. B. R. (Patient identification number-11379) visited us on 1st November 2008. He was suffering from Psoriasis on hands, legs, elbow, chest, back since 2004 and Psoriatic Arthritis on right index finger and left little finger since August 2008. He had itching and scaling of skin on hands, chest, back, elbow and small sporadic spots on legs. He had developed pain, swelling and tenderness on right index finger and left little finger since past 3 months.

He had family history of Psoriasis as his elder brother had Psoriasis.

He was a known case of high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus since 12 years for which he was taking conventional medicine and was well under control.

He had an average appetite. He liked spicy food. He perspired profusely. His thirst, bowel movements and urination were normal.

He was working as a clerk in a private company and his wife was a teacher. He had a daughter who was married and settled.

He was calm and friendly by nature. He was anxious before any important event in office or at home. His brother in law had cheated him as he had sold off his property which led to big setback in his life. He was hurt as his trust was broken.

Dr. Shah prescribed him research based medicines after studying his case in detail.

Patient visited for his first follow up on 27th December 2008. His Psoriasis lesions on hand, elbow, chest, back had mild improvement and there were few new lesions on his legs. Pain, swelling and tenderness on right index finger and left little finger had mild improvement.

When patient reported on 27th of February 2009, He was glad to report 50% improvement in his Psoriasis lesions on hand, elbow, chest, back. There were no new lesions. Pain, swelling and tenderness on right index finger and left little finger were having gradual improvement.

Patient reported on 12th May 2009.The improvement in his Psoriasis was gradual. He reported improvement in movement of his finger’s mobility. Pain, swelling and tenderness on right index finger and left little finger had improved noticeably.

Patient showed 75% improvement in Psoriasis lesions hand, elbow, chest, back on 30th June 2009. There were no new lesions since 6 months and pain, swelling and tenderness on right index finger and left little finger had improved significantly.

The patient continued the treatment for 2-3 months to attain complete recovery. Patient was glad that along with his Psoriasis his Psoriatic arthritis was in control. He expressed his joy as now he could do his job without any pain.
