A 23 years old, female patient Miss. M.B.H (Patient Identification Number 5860), visited Life Force with the complaint of unexplained weight loss. Her appetite was reduced. She would get tired easily and there was no desire to work. Her weight was 38 kg when she visited Life Force. She did not have any other complaints. She was thoroughly investigated for Thyroid, Kocks, Diabetes and all other probable causes of weight loss.

There was no underlying disease or obvious cause for weight loss. Miss. M.B.H was having a craving for spicy food. Bowel habits and micturation were normal. She would get profuse perspiration almost all over the body. She did not have any complaints of menstruation. Her sleep was sound with no specific dreams. She would get marked aggravation in warm weather. Miss. M.B.H was working as a receptionist in a private company. She was a reserved individual; she would not share her feelings with others. She was irritable by nature, she would get angry about small things. Her father was a dominating and irritable person. He had a fault finding nature. Her mother was calm and tolerant. Patient was sensitive by nature. She would get upset over small things. She would not express her feelings. She would weep alone. When asked what she feels when her father critized her, she started weeping. Her tears manifested her internal turmoil.

Considering all these details, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed her Mag Carb 200 C. In her first follow up after two months, there was a little improvement in her appetite. Her weight was the same. She would still feel lethargic. In next four months, there was significant improvement in her appetite. She gained two kg weight. The lethargic feeling was less.
