2 years old child cured of atopic dermatitis without visiting our center
2 years old Miss A. J (Patient Identification Number - 13918) availed our online treatment on 16th June 2010 for Atopic Dermatitis. Since last 1 year, she had dry itchy eruptions on her elbow, knee joints and thigh region.
The complaints started in the summer and aggravated in the winter season. The eruptions were gradually spreading on her abdomen, face, back and neck. Her parents were applying steroid based creams since the complaints started, but they did not find much improvement.
Her appetite was average with no specific liking or disliking. She would perspire more on the head.
Her family consisted of mother, father and a twin sister. The twins were prematurely born and underweight. Her father was an agriculturist. Her mother was a home maker.
She had been admitted for a bacterial infection after birth in intensive care for a month. She had been treated with conventional medicines and was healthy there after.
She was prescribed Calcarea Phosphoricum 200c and Carcinosin 200c by Dr. Shah after a detailed case analysis.
After 2 months (23/08/10) – there was significant improvement of around 80% reported. There was no more itching and the lesions became dry. Healing was noticeable. They had gradually tapered the usage of steroid creams and were able to stop it completely. Her case was reviewed by Dr Shah and the next batch of medicines were prescribed.
After 4 months (20/10/10) – a mild flare up was reported. Few new spots have appeared and were itchy. The medicines were upgraded by Dr. Shah after reviewing the case.
After 6 months (04/01/11) – they were happy to report 90% improvement. The spread had stopped completely. The redness and rashes were completely healed. Her skin was smooth and normal.
After 8 months (02/03/11) – the atopic dermatitis was cured completely. The skin was normal. There was no sign of dryness, redness or itching. Her family has been in touch with us. There has been no relpase in her atopic dermatitis, despite not being on any treatment, in the past one year.
They continue to monitor the child and give a feedback every six months. Her parents have deep gratitude for Dr Shah for the wonderful recovery of their child.
