8 years old girl from the US cured for urticaria in 7 months time

Ms. Y.B, PIN: 19604, 8 year school girl, from NJ, United States, started with the treatment online on 5 September 2011 for complaints of Urticaria. She started with Urticarial rash and wheals all over the body. Her wheals would come almost weekly and she had been started on Antihistamines by her treating dermatologist however it didn't help her much.

Her father was just browsing through information on Urticaria when he came across Dr. Shah's website on Urticaria. Being impressed with the vast information available on line and the facility to start the treatment online he came in touch with our team of Drs and opted for the treatment online.

Her case details were taken online in form of a questionnaire.

Ms. Y.B was suffering from Urticaria since last 6 months. She would develop wheals all over the body associated with swelling. There was excess itching and redness on the skin. The wheals would get triggered due to exposure to cold weather and cold climate.

Ms. Y.B was a non-vegetarian and had good appetite. She has strong liking for non vegetarian food and chicken and dislike for sweets. Her thirst for water was adequate. She would have moderate perspiration. Thermally more tolerant towards heat as exposure to cold weather would trigger her Urticaria. Her milestones were normal.

Her sleep was also sound and refreshing.

She was a student and was living with her parents. Her father was a soft ware professional and mother a house wife. She was studying in grade 2.

She was the only child so the parents whole attention was on her. She was very sensitive by nature and would get affected easily by small trifles. She was veryu sensitive to any one teasing her about small issues or any one pointing out at her mistakes. Since she was introvert and shy by nature, she would never share her feelings with any one. She was close to her mother and sometimes would share her fears.

Based on these case details, the medicines were prescribed for 4 months and her parents were asked to give us a feedback at the nd of 3.5 months.

At 3.5 months follow up on 7 January 2012, the father gave a feedback online. The Urticaria is much better, the frequency has reduced and she has stopped taking the Antihistamines completely.

At 7.5 months follow up (17 May 2012), Ms. Y.B.s father reported online, a very favorable response. There is no Urticaria rash in last 2 months. Over all she is doing much better and her episodes of recurrent colds and cough have also stopped.

She was asked to stop the treatment as she was doing well and she was cured of her Urticaria.
