Psoriasis of palms and soles recovered by 90% within 3 months of Dr. Shah’s treatment.
A country side teacher (PIN No - 8954) visited our clinic on 30th September, 2006. He wanted to seek treatment for his wife. The case details were reported by husband.
Mrs. I. A. G. aged, 52 years complained of Psoriasis in palms and soles since a year. It was severe with painful cracks and scaling. The itching was severe. She had been taking few ayurvedic medicines. It had increased during winters.
She was a vegetarian by choice. She liked salty food products. She would occasionally chew tobacco. She could not bear warm temperature.
She was a teacher by profession. Her mother in law stayed with them. She had a daughter and 2 sons. Her daughter was pursuing masters in arts. The elder son had completed matriculate and was unemployed. The younger son was studying pharmacy.
She had become irritable due to the disease. She did not feel like working. she was worried about the illness.
She was also suffering from high blood pressure.
Dr. Shah prescribed Psorinum 200c along with some research based medicines.
After 2 months (30/11/06) she reported 40 – 50 % improvement in her Psoriasis. The cracks, pain and scaling had reduced significantly.
She reported on 29th December, 2006 with 90% improvement in her Psoriasis.
She visited the center on 8 September 2012, for complaints of cervical spondylitis. When inquired about her psoriasis, she said that it had cured comletely in 2006, there has not been a relapse ever since.
This case explains, how Homeopathy helps in giving long term remissions( disease free period) to patients.
When the patients are better, they discontinue the treatment. We do not get follow ups in their remission period. The disease free interval may be for one year, or two years, or five years or for several years. With Homeopathy we try for long term remissions.
