Eyes that never saw Chalazion again after Homeopathic treatment
A 39-year-old lady, Ms S. I., (Patient Identification Number: 16857) visited Life Force for the treatment of dry eyes and recurrent chalazion on 2nd September 2011.
She had episodes of chalazion in the past and had got it operated twice in 1999 and April 2011. She had chalazion in both the upper eyelids when she came for consultation. She experienced irritation and heaviness in the eyes as well as mild itching.
She was also suffering from dry eyes since 8 months. She would have sticky discharge and swelling of the eyelids. It was associated with mild pain in the eyes. She would use tear free eye drops on and off to get some relief since six months.
She was vegetarian by diet. Her menses were regular. She has special desire for sweets. She had no issues with regards to sleep, urination and stools.
She was very jovial, expressive and impatient, friendly by nature. She would never suppress her emotions.
While inquiring about her family history she revealed her father suffered from diabetes myelitis, hodgkin’s lymphoma, kidney disease. Mother had hypertension. Maternal grandmother had asthma. Her paternal grand father suffered from cancer.
Dr Shah studied her case details and prescribed her medicines. She was advised to follow-up after 2 months.
She visited for her first follow-up on 3rd February 2012. She had gap of treatment for 1 month as she was on a tour. She reported forty percent improvement in her complaints. Irritation in her eyes had reduced. There was no itching present. Heaviness in the eyelids had also decreased. Complaint of dry eyes had subsided completely and she no longer needed Tear free eye drops.
She did not report for treatment for another 2 years long time. She reported in December 2014 for complaint of cervical spondylitis she had developed since last 1-2 months. She informed that her dry eyes and chalazion has subsided totally after the last batch of medicines given to her. She didn’t have any new chalazion and her eyes were completely free from dryness.
