I was able to reduce thyroid medicines dose with Dr. Shah’s long term medicines.

38 years old Mrs. S. A., (Patient Identification Number - 12394) visited our clinic on 11th July 2009. She was suffering from Underactive Thyroid since 2005. The thyroid had been detected during her second pregnancy. During that time she had taken 100mcg of thyroid supplements. Since 3 years she was taking 75mcg tablets. Her TSH level dated 3rd June was 7.93. She complained of chilliness, weakness and tiredness. She had become more irritable lately with many erratic mood swings.

Her appetite was average and liked salty food. She was sensitive to cold weather. Her menses were regular and normal.

She was a company secretary in legal section of a food company. Her husband was finance director in a thermo electrical company. Her daughter was studying in 4th grade and her son was 3 years old.

She was worrisome and irritable by nature. She would generally have pessimistic thoughts. She would scold her children. She would become angry by noise and would scream. She would not be able to control her anger off late.

Her father suffered form bone marrow cancer. Her mother was suffering from high blood pressure. Her sister was also suffering from Hypothyroid.

Her case was studied in detail by Dr. Shah. He prescribed her Sepia 200c along with few research based medicines.

She reported on 23rd September with improvement in her mood swings and irritability. Her TSH level had decreased significantly. The TSH level dated 21st September was 3.12. The tiredness and weakness had decreased and she felt a general feeling of well being.

She reported on 20th January 2010 with further improvement in her health. The TSH level had further reduced to 2.99, report dated 18th January 2010. She did not feel tired and weak. The mood swings were much under control. She had reduced her dose of thyroid tablet from 75mcg to 50 mcg. Her case was reviewed and prescription upgraded by Dr. Shah.

She reported on 16th December 2010 with further betterment in her health conditions. Her TSH level was maintained to 3.92 in the reports dated 21st September 2010. She was continuing with her 50mcg thyroid dose.

She reported on 7th June 2011 with over all improvement in her health. Though her thyroid levels were raised it was within normal limits. Her TSH dated 2nd May 2011 was 5.24. She was still advised to continue with 50mcg thyroid supplements.

She reported on 13th October 2011 with decrease in her Thyroid levels. Her report dated 19th September 2011 had TSH level – 3.13. Her thyroid dose was continued as 50mcg.
