The patches are less dry and less flaky. The patches have not as yet started to decrease but are not getting darker. I had noticed that there were some patches around the genital area but they are getting better. The same on my head, there are only small areas which are very dry but with regular use of petroleum jelly, the darkness is fading. I am very pleased with the treatment in just three months. The alopecia areata has stopped growing. I have got two more bald spots, but they are smaller. My other bald spots have been covered with fine thin baby hairs. My hair falls out less. I really think that the disease has slowed down. I still have 2 spots that are not covered but they are much smaller than the earlier ones.
