I have responded very well to the treatment. The hives are less severe now. I would say there is 70% improvement on the severity, though minor outbreaks are everyday. There is improvement in the intensity and severity of the rash outbreaks. Frequency-wise I still have minor rashes almost daily, but the duration is shorter. Certain times I have taken only half dosages of the antihistamines and my rashes were manageable. I am hoping I might not need any treatment for my urticaria in the near future. The medication has helped tremendously. There has been no spreading of the Lichen Planus in the last 3 months. It has spread from my ankles to my lower back and a few spots on my arm. The spreading has now stopped and the spots are becoming flatter and a lot more in line with the texture of the normal skin around it. I have cut down on my smoking and this has possibly assisted in the healing process.
