80% Improvement In Recovery From Lichen Planus With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force

A 61-year-old male, Mr. S.M. (PIN: 32952) from Mumbai visited Kemp’s corner branch of Life Force and started homeopathic treatment from us in July 2017 for his complaint of Lichen Planus.

He was suffering from lichen planus since the past 1 year. There were lesions present on his hands, legs, stomach, and private parts. He was experiencing a lot of itching on the skin. The itching was very intense all the time. Hyper-pigmentation was present on the skin. The spots of lichen planus were rapidly spreading all over his body. He had taken conventional medicine in the past but he got no relief with it. He also had high uric acid levels for which he was taking allopathic medication.

He had an average appetite with a specific desire for non-vegetarian food. His thirst for water was average. His perspiration was profuse and offensive. His sleep was normal. He was tall and well-built in appearance.

He was retired. He was staying with his wife and two children. He was very mild and gentle by nature.

He never had any other major illnesses in the past. His father had a medical history of Hypertension.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines.

    Follow-Ups:

On 22nd November 2017, the patient reported that his condition was as it is. It was noticed that the spots were spreading further. He noticed new spots developing on his body. The itching was also as it is. The old spots of lichen planus were slightly reduced, but new spots were still appearing. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah made some changes in his prescription and prescribed further medicines to the patient.

On 12th April 2018, the patient informed that he was better with the medicines. His relief from the complaints was almost 40%-50% better now. The itching on his skin had reduced than before. Hyperpigmentation was still present on the skin, but the spots were not active. The spread of disease was under control. No new eruptions had developed in the last 3-4 months. He was overall better with the medicines.

On 4th December 2018, he was further better with his complaints. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. The itching on his skin had reduced a lot. The old spots were fading gradually. The hyperpigmentation was also reducing. The disease was under control with the medication.

On 26th June 2019, the patient updated that he is almost 80% better. Only hyperpigmented spots were present on the skin. No new spots had appeared nor the spread of the disease had occurred. The relief from the itching on the skin was completely better than earlier. He had overall improved with the medicines.

He thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for helping him and improving his health. He is still under our treatment to get completely better.

    Conclusion:

This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus effectively and safely without any side-effects.
