A Critical Care Intensivist In The US Found Substantial Recovery From Lichen Planus With Homeopathy

A 46-year-old male patient from the USA, Dr. R. P. (PIN: 26560) observed the development of a few skin eruptions, which were itchy and spreading. He visited a skin specialist; the biopsy of the same confirmed that he had Lichen planus. The skin specialist prescribed him a topical steroid.

He searched for Life Force Homeopathy on the web and started with our treatment via the online protocol for his lichen planus complaints under the guidance of Dr. Shah on 26th January 2020. Dr. R. P. used steroids for 6-7 months, but, as it was giving just transitory alleviation, he didn't wish to proceed with steroids. So, he opted for homeopathic treatment for lichen planus.

He had multiple small reddish, gray to brown and letter pigmented lesions on the chest, abdomen, and groin area since March 2017. Whenever the new lesions used to develop, he would experience severe itching and, later, the itching would become mild gradually. Also, he would suffer from the burning sensation whenever he had a flare-up.

He had a history of Psoriasis. He would occasionally get minor flare-ups of psoriasis, for which he used topical steroids.

Physical Generals:

His appetite was average, and he had craving for spicy food. His water intake was less. He was sensitive to the draft of air and cold weather.

Psychological and Family Make-Up:

He migrated from India to the USA 19 years ago and was staying with his wife, children, and parents.

He was calm and a bit anxious. The patient had some stress as his father had dementia.

At Life Force:

Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed him a few research-based medicines for his complaints.

Follow-Ups:

After 16 weeks of having homeopathic medicines on 16th May 2020, Dr. R. P. informed us that the lesions of lichen planus on his neck and chest were stable. Hyperpigmentation on his chest spots was fading. However, at the same time, the lesions on his waist were becoming more aggressive with itching. He was still getting new lesions, however, the intensity of getting new lesions was less than before. He continued our homeopathic treatment further with some revision in the medicines.

On 16th September 2020, the patient informed us that his lesions of lichen planus had subsided by 50%. The ones which were raised flattened out, and the itching had reduced remarkably on the chest and neck. His lichen planus lesions in the right inguinal ring and on the waist were still active.

With further medicines, the healing of the lesions on his waist and the inguinal area also had started to improve.

On 8th May 2021, all his lesions had healed completely, and the patient was more concerned about the post-inflammatory marks so Dr. Shah revised the medicines.

Dr. R. P. is continuing with the treatment for further improvement in the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation marks of lichen planus.

Conclusion:

This case features that homeopathy is profoundly viable in treating lichen planus at the root level offering natural healing and long-lasting results. It does not cause brief alleviation, unlike steroids. Homeopathy promotes healing gently and safely without any side effects.
