A 45-Year-Old Male Got An Excellent Recovery From Oral And Genital Lichen Planus With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force

A 45-year-old male, Mr. P. K. (PIN: 30279) suffering from Lichen Planus approached Life Force on 13th November 2016 for the treatment of his condition. He was suffering from this disease for 9-10 months. The lesions of lichen planus were present on his genitals and in the mouth. The first lesion had started on the penis. Later, the lesions started appearing in the mouth. He had elongated lesions along the inner side of his cheeks, lips, gums, and palate. The patient was experiencing a mild itching in the lesion on the penis. In his mouth, burning, swelling, and the pain after eating spicy food were bothering him. The patient was treated with steroidal applications in the past although not for a very long time.

The patient’s diet was mixed and their appetite was good. He was fond of eating non-vegetarian food and eggs and used to have it regularly at least in one meal. He had an aversion to sour food. His thirst was average. He used to enjoy a sound sleep. He was equally sensitive to both extremes of the temperature and used to get a headache in both temperature extremes. The patient used to consume alcohol almost every day in a moderate amount. The patient had smoked for 21 years and had the habit of smoking 1 year back before he came for the treatment.

He had associated complaints of acidity and the occasional headache. For headaches, he was having the habit of taking painkillers since childhood.

    His Grandmother was Diabetic.

The patient had infections of Chicken Pox, Jaundice, and fungal infection in the past.

By nature, he was very sensitive. He was very conscious and shy since childhood. He was very good at his studies. He was conscious of his appearance, image, and behavior. Because of this, he used to go into depression sometimes but was able to get out of it immediately. Sometimes, he used to get irritated and turn rude to his family members.

The patient himself was Colonel in the intelligence department in the Indian Army. His wife was a teacher in the school and was also engaged in scriptwriting for short films.

Dr. Rajesh Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed his research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient. The patient found very good results which are mentioned in the follow-ups below.

We treat patients from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE & 180 more countries. Get an expert opinion on your ailment, click here to ask Dr. Shah's team directly.

    Follow-Ups:

When the patient reported at the first follow-up in February 2017, his relief in both Oral and Genital lesions was 25% better. No new lesions had appeared nor any spread had occurred.

In November 2017, the patient’s relief in both Oral and Genital Lichen Planus was better by 50%. His difficulty in eating and burning in the mouth had reduced. His relief in the itching in lesions on the penis was also better.

In August 2018, the patient’s recovery from the lesions in his mouth and penis was improved to 70%. He no more experienced any discomfort in the lesions of the mouth and penis.

In January 2019, the lesions on the genitals had vanished. And, the recovery from the lesions affecting the mouth was better up to 75%.

In September 2019, however, a few lesions had reappeared in the mouth of the patient. They may have reappeared because there was a gap in the medicines from his side for a few months. Still, recovery from genital lesions was far better about more than 80%.

In March 2020, the patient improved a lot. His genital lesions were completely gone. And, his relief in the lesions in the mouth was much better by 80%.

    Conclusion:

This case illustrates that homeopathy works wonders in treating cases of Oral and Genital Lichen planus and helps the patient to overcome the discomfort resulting due to the disease effectively and safely without any side effects.
