A Teen Girl Found Amazing Recovery From Lichen Planus With Dr. Shah’s Homeopathy At Life Force

A 15-year-old girl, Miss M.B. (PIN:  32261) visited Life Force on 27th May 2017 for treating her complaint of Lichen Planus which she was suffering approximately from 1 year. During the case taking, she mentioned that her skin condition was progressing further. The history of heavy corticosteroids was present. When she visited us, she was on steroidal treatment. The patient had multiple eruptions on forearms, both the legs, abdomen and back with tremendous itching and burning and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. All her symptoms used to get aggravated at night. She used to feel better by bathing.

After proper evaluation of the case, Dr. Shah suggested some dietary guidelines and as well as suggested some investigations along with homeopathic treatment.

    Follow-Ups:

At her first follow-up on 27th June 2017, the patient had experienced an improvement of 5% in her relief from lichen planus throughout her affected areas. No new eruptions were noticed. Also, relief in the eruptions was better in all the skin areas mentioned during the case history. The relief in itching was completely better by 100%. The burning discomfort had become mild. The patient had already stopped the steroidal treatment which she was following on 27th May 2017

When the patient gave the second follow-up on 31st August 2017, new eruptions were observed, but her recovery from the old eruptions was further better. She was no more experiencing any itching. There was no burning sensation affecting her in any of the spots. The relief in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation was also better than earlier. The patient was off steroidal treatment since the start of homeopathic treatment.

At the third follow-up on 7th November 2017, no new eruptions had appeared. The relief in the older eruptions was further better. An overall improvement was seen in the patient from the start of the homeopathic treatment.

And, as consequently follow-ups were taken, by the end of 1 year of the treatment, the patient experienced around 90% recovery from the lichen planus. There were no active eruptions, no spread, and no new eruptions present. The patient was very happy with homeopathy.

    Conclusion:

Lichen planus is an immune system-triggered skin disorder. Homeopathy works best in treating the cases of immunity triggered disorders. Also, homeopathy is the practice that believes in the use of the minimum amount of medication to evoke the healing response in the body. Normal medications have been known to cause numerous side-effects, but, homeopathy, on the other hand, works on to prevent any sort of side-effect, thus promoting recovery safely. Compared to conventional treatment which includes various corticosteroids, homeopathic treatment is Natural, Safe, and offers longer-lasting results. This case highlights that homeopathy along with certain dietary guidelines promote recovery from Lichen Planus and offers remarkable results.
