Mouth ulcers, also known as Stomatitis, is an inflammation of the mucous membranes lining the oral cavity or mouth.  It is the most common disease affecting the mouth area. There are two main types of stomatitis. They are mentioned below. Canker Sores: Canker sores are pale white or yellowish in color with a red outer ring. They might be single or multiple and, usually, occur on the inner side of the lips or cheek or on the tongue. They lead to acute, temporary pain. In minor cases, which are the most usual, the ulcers heal within 4 to 14 days. In more severe cases, which account for about 1 in 10 cases of stomatitis, the sores can last up to 6 weeks. Women and youths in their teens and 20s are more likely to experience them. Canker sores can run in families but are not contagious. Difference Between Scalp Psoriasis & Dandruff

Psoriasis is a skin condition in which 10 times rapid multiplication of skin cells occurs producing red, inflamed, bumpy, and itchy patches on the skin. This mostly occurs due to an overactive immune system. Itching in the patches leading to scaling of while silvery scales which is one of the characteristics of psoriasis. Scalp Psoriasis and Dandruff: Both the scalp conditions produce itching and flakes of skin, but there are some differences. Dandruff is a common scalp condition which causes shedding of dry flakes of skin. These flakes can fall on the shoulders and be embarrassing for the people. However, dandruff is neither contagious nor harmful. Scalp Psoriasis affects the scalp producing itchy, inflamed, reddish, and bumpy patches on the scalp. It can be so itchy and distressing that it may sometimes cause the skin to crack and bleed. Does Acne Worsen In Summer?

Acne is a chronic, unpleasant inflammatory skin condition which leads to the development of pimples and spots, particularly on the face, neck, shoulders, chest, back, and upper arms. How Exactly Acne Occurs? Our skin has pores which are connected to glands (sebaceous glands) which produce Oil/Sebum. Sebum is known to carry dead skin cells through the follicles to the skin’s surface. You can see a small hair growing out of your skin through the follicle. Pimples develop when these follicles happen to get blocked, and oil gets build up under the skin. Sebum, hair, and skin cells and hair can clump together into a plug. When this plug happens to get infected with bacteria, swelling occurs. A pimple begins to develop when the plug happens to break down. There is a range of factors that can trigger acne, but the main cause is believed to be a rise in androgen levels (production of which is increased during teenage).
