    An Incredible Recovery From Lichen Planus Found In A Few Months With Homeopathy

    A 46-years-old male, Mr. S.S.D. (PIN: 36355) consulted for his Lichen Planus at Life Force on the 31st March 2018. He had developed hyperpigmented, scattered irregular spots on his abdomen, both the legs, both the thighs, & back from three months. His eruptions were thick, raised, and dark brown with occasional itching. It was clinically diagnosed as Lichen Planus. He had been taking oral steroids for three months, but it was not providing any significant result, only his genital eruptions were cured totally. Besides this, he was also suffering from diabetes and hypertension. For that, he was taking anti-hypertensive and anti-diabetic medicine.

    He had fair skin and was tall. He was a non-vegetarian by diet. He desired spicy food. His thirst was excessive. His would perspire very rarely. His bowel movements were regular. His sleep was sound. He didn’t see any peculiar dreams.

    He was a BAMS doctor. His wife a homemaker, and his daughter was a B.E. computer student. His father was retired from a car manufacturing company, and his mother was a homemaker.

    He had malaria in his past history. In his family history, his father, mother, and sister were suffering from diabetes.

    Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed him a research-based molecule.

    On 8th May 2018, when he visited our center for a follow-up, his relief from the complaints had started to show improvement. All his spots had shown a 10% improvement in the terms of recovery, and his itching had totally subsided. He was continuing his conventional steroid medicine.

    A few months later on 3rd July 2018, when the patient visited our center, his condition had improved drastically. All his eruptions were more than 60% improved in terms of recovery. No new spots had appeared. As per the advice, he had already reduced his steroid doses.

    When he visited us again on 22nd August 2018, all his spots were under control. He was not facing any complaints. He was advised to take the steroid once in 15 days for the next month. He was happy with his result.

    The patient next visited our center on 17th October 2018 for a follow-up. His recovery from Lichen Planus had improved by more than 90%. Only hyper-pigmented spots were left. He didn’t experience any other symptoms. He has not taken the steroid for one month. 

    The patient is still continuing the homeopathic treatment from Life Force for further improvement.

     Conclusion:

    This case shows that early diagnosis and the right prescription by an experienced doctor always prove helpful for a lichen planus patient to recover effectively and safely without any side-effects.
