Case-4: Sixty one years old man happy to get relief from chyluria

Sixty-one years old Mr. S. R. K. (Patient Identification Number 21938) visited our clinic on 20th April 2013. He was suffering from Chyluria since 2004. He got episodes of Chyluria once every 2 years, which lasted for 3 weeks. He had whitish clots in urine. He complained of severe burning sensation along with pain in his genitals. He had undergone cystoscopy twice; in the year 2007 and 2008. He managed this complaint with conventional medication but it would still recur. On every recurrence his complaints would worsen as compared to previous episode.

He also complained of unbearable headache since 1985. This complaint would recur every day 2-3 times which lasted for 30 minutes. He had tried taking several allopathic medications with mild relief. Patient mentioned,” I have hammering sensation on right side of my head. I feel like committing suicide, as the pain is unbearable. I can't even sleep due to this pain.

He had average appetite. He liked eating spicy food and disliked eating vegetables. He preferred warm weather. He perspired profusely. His bowel movements and thirst were normal.

He was retired a year back and he was previously working in an ice cream manufacturing company. His wife had also retired from government job few months back. His daughter was married and settled in USA. She was a lawyer.

He was perfectionist by nature. He was punctual and fastidious. His relations with his mother were not cordial as he always felt that his mother always favored his brother. He felt neglected unloved and disappointed with his mother's behavior.

He got operated for fissure in ano in 1981 and hydrocele in 2003.

His mother also suffered from Chyluria and headache. His father expired due to cancer.

Dr. Shah prescribed him research-based medication after studying his case in detail.

He reported on 23rd May 2013. His complaint of Chyluria was the same. His headache had increased. He was traveling to USA to meet his daughter so he requested for 6 months medication. Dr. Shah made necessary changes in his prescription.

Patient reported on 23rd November 2013.There was no milky clots in urine. He only had burning sensation. Headache had mild improvement.

He reported on 10th January 2014. He was glad to report significant improvement in his complaint of Chyluria and headache. There were no milky clots in his urine and burning sensation had reduced around 75%. He was relieved, as his headache had improved around 75%. His sleep was better. He complained of reddish eruptions on his body since 15 days. He had reddish lesions along with itching all over his body.

He reported on 4th March 2014. His complaints of Chyluria and headache had further improvement. The burning sensation while passing urine was better and there were no milky clots in urine. He was happy, as his headache had improved significantly. He could now sleep peacefully. The eruptions on his body had reduced around 75%. There was no itching.

The patient was happy as his overall condition had significant improvement with Dr. Shah's homeopathic medication.
