2-Years-Old Recurrent Cellulitis Were Resolved Completely With Homeopathy
A 47-years-old goldsmith from Bikaner, Rajasthan, Mr. R.S. (PIN 33574) visited Life Force on 13th September 2017 to get treated for his cellulitis. From the past two years, he was suffering from recurrent cellulitis in his left lower leg. At every 3-4 weeks of the period, he would get an episode of Cellulitis. His complaints would start with a small red pustular eruption which would gradually increase along with itching, burning, and swelling of the parts. He had been operated for cellulitis 2 years ago when there were huge swelling and severe pain in his left lower limb. Considering the severity of his complaints, the doctors had advised him to go for skin grafting which was denied by the patient. He would take strong anti-biotics and anti-histamines during the episodes, to control his discomfort. If still his discomfort and complaints couldn’t be controlled, then he used to take the steroids.
Besides this, he was not having any major complaints. In the past, he had suffered from a kidney stone. He did not have any past history of any major illness. His mother, brother, and sister were known cases of diabetes
He had a normal appetite. He had a craving for yogurt and aversion to the sour things. His thirst and perspiration were normal. His bowels and urine were regular and satisfactory. He preferred cold climate.
He was a goldsmith by profession living in a joint family with his four brothers and two sisters. He has one son, who was helping him in his business and 22-years-old a daughter who is studying. His spouse was a housewife. He has cordial relation with everyone at home. There was no major stress in his life. His only worry was his health.
After going through the case details thoroughly, Dr. Shah prescribed Mercurius solubilis 30 along-with his research-based medicines.
In the first follow-up on 8th November 2017, with the first two months of homeopathic medicines, there was no major change in his frequency of the complaints. Dr. Shah re-evaluated his case, and revised medicines were sent to the patient.
On 6th January 2018, the patient reported that his frequency of getting cellulitis infection had reduced. In the last 2 months, he had only 3 mild episodes of cellulitis. And, he did not require antibiotics to control the infection.
With the further continuation of the treatment, he was completely free from cellulitis episodes. He got relieved completely from his 2-years-old chronic complaints of cellulitis within 7-8 months of continuous homeopathic treatment.

This case highlights that homeopathy is quite effective in treating chronic cellulitis successfully and safely without any side-effects. Homeopathy eliminates the dependency on antibiotics and steroids while providing you a great relief from cellulitis by preventing the need for the surgery.
