A Surgeon Finds 70% Recovery From Lichen Planus Pigmentosa In A Short Timespan

A 32-years-old surgeon from Gujarat (PIN: 35826) visited Life Force Homeopathy clinic on 22nd February 2018 for his Lichen Planus Pigmentosa (LPP) treatment. He was suffering from LPP for 1.5 years. He had dry, dark hyper-pigmented moderate patches on both his hands and neck with mild itching on the patches. He used steroids and anti-histamines with no significant recovery from the patches.

Besides this, he had suffered from no other major illness. In the past, he had suffered from typhoid. His father suffered from Hypothyroidism and Hypertension, and his mother was suffering from Hypertension and Diabetes complaint.

His sleep was sound. His appetite was normal, and he had craving for sweets. He used to perspire moderately on the face and had normal bowel and bladder habits.

He was a General surgeon by profession and was mild by nature. He had two younger sisters, one was married and got settled in the USA and other was doing Ph.D. His father was a retired Government officer, and his mother was a homemaker. In childhood, his parents had frequent fights which made him feel lonely. He was experiencing work-related stress, but nothing major apart from it.

With all these case details, his case was analyzed by Dr. Shah and he prescribed his research-based medicines along with constitutional medicine Calcarea Carbonicum-30 to the patient.

On 30th July 2018 at his first follow-up itself, he showed incredible improvement in his recovery. His hyper-pigmented patches had started to turn light and the disease was under control. No new patches were noticed. The patches on his hands had started to show major improvement in terms of recovery as compared to his neck patches.

On 5th December 2018, he was happy to inform that the patches on his hands were better by more than 70% in terms of recovery. However, this time he had developed some new small patches on the neck, and his recovery from the old patches on the neck was better by 50%.

He is still continuing the medicines with Life Force for his complete recovery from Lichen Planus Pigmentosa.

Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy offers an effective treatment for Lichen Planus Pigmentosa (LPP). LPP is an uncommon, difficult variant of lichen planus, and the condition takes a long duration to evolve and slow to respond to the treatment. However, in the above case, since the beginning of Homeopathic treatment, the showed a noteworthy improvement. Long-term homeopathic treatment gives good results to control the further spread of the disease, to stop the disease activity, and to reverse the hyperpigmentation to a great extent.
