An Incredible Relief From Ankylosing Spondylitis & Improvement In Health In Just 5 Months Of Homeopathic Treatment
A 77-year-old male patient, Mr. C.B. (PIN: 38742) visited Paud Branch of Life Force Homeopathy on 3rd December 2018 with his complaints of pain and stiffness in joints, particularly in the neck, lumbar, and hip joints. He was experiencing these complaints for 6 years, and they were progressing slowly.
Its symptoms, which were bothering him, were a pain, stiffness, and restricted movement of the hip and neck. He was experiencing difficulty walking and used to limp while walking.
His MRI scan was suggestive of Ankylosing Spondylitis:
MRI Lumbar Spine –
Impression: Multilevel vertebral and facet joint effusion associated with disc calcification & possible sacroiliac joint ankylosis. These imaging findings would raise the possibility of ankylosing spondylitis.
The patient also had a benign enlargement of prostate and urine urgency, and his urine frequency in the night was 4-5 times.
Also, he was a known case of Hypertension, which was stable with conventional medicines.
The patient also had complaints of constipation with motions after every 3-4 days after taking Ayurvedic medicines. He was passing hard stool and had to strain. Also, he was experiencing the discomfort of bloating in the abdomen.
The patient was non-vegetarian, and he had cravings for sweets.
The patient, by nature, was calm & cool. He liked the company, and he could not express his emotions. He was worried about his disease. He was satisfied with his life.
After carrying out a detailed analysis of his case, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed research-based medicine to the patient. She was also advised to follow proper diet and regimen.
Follow-Ups:
1st Follow-Up: When he gave the first follow-up on 12th January 2019, the patient’s condition was as it is. He was experiencing no major improvement or relief. His HLA- B27 test was negative. There was a 5% relief in his frequency of urination at night time. His constipation complaints were also as it is.
2nd Follow-Up: When he gave the second follow-up on 25th February 2019, he was experiencing 15% relief in pain & stiffness in the neck. There was 20% relief in his frequency of urination at night (now 2-3 times). His relief from constipation complaints had improved by 70%. He used to pass stool daily using warm water & other advised diet without Ayurvedic medicines.
3rd Follow-Up: When he gave the third follow-up on 10th April 2019, there was no pain in his neck and only stiffness was present. Also, there was no pain in his hips, just stiffness was remaining, Also, his relief from the stiffness in his lumbar spine improved by 60% to 70%. Also, he was experiencing no pain while walking, but his movement was slow. He was no more limping while walking. There was 70% relief in his frequency of urination at night time (now one time). His relief from constipation complaints had improved. It had increased a bit due to less intake of water. His motions were daily but unsatisfactory.
4th Follow-Up: When he gave the fourth follow-up on 20th May 2019, he was experiencing an overall 50% improvement in his health. There was no pain in hips, and just stiffness was left. Also, his relief from the stiffness in his lumbar spine improved further. There was no pain in his neck, just stiffness, which was reduced, was present. There was 70% relief in his frequency of urination at night time (now one time). His relief from constipation complaints had improved. Now, he used to pass stools daily and they were not hard as earlier.

Conclusion:
This case shows how Homeopathy helps towards better management of Ankylosing Spondylitis. The patient experienced a 50% improvement in just 5 months of homeopathic treatment. Also, he experienced a remarkable recovery from his associated complaints of constipation and urine frequency.
