80% Recovery From Lichen Planus With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force
A 37-year-old female from Jammu and Kashmir, Mrs. M.B. (PIN: 23737) started with homeopathic treatment online from Life Force in the month of October 2014 for her complaint of Lichen Planus.
She was suffering from this condition for the past year. The spots of lichen planus were present mainly on her legs, hands, and back. She was experiencing a lot of itching on the skin. And, the itching was very intense all the time. She was experiencing itching more on her legs than on the other parts of the body. Itching used to bother her mainly at night. She was also experiencing burning on her skin, mainly after scratching. She was already on Homeopathic medicines for the past one year, but there was no difference in the terms of the relief in her skin condition.
She also had an underactive thyroid complaint for many years. She was taking thyroid supplements for the same.
She had an average appetite. She had specific cravings for sweets and spicy food. Her thirst for water was average. Her sleep was normal.
She was staying with her husband. She was working as a beautician. She had stress because of the disease, as she was in the profession related to maintaining the beauty and the hyperpigmentation on the skin was not looking good. Besides this, no other stress factor was bothering the patient.
She never had any other major illnesses in the past. Her father and mother suffered from thyroid disorders and diabetes mellitus.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines.
Follow-Ups:
On 9th May 2015, the patient reported that she was 40%-50% better in her relief from the complaint. No new spots of lichen planus appeared after starting with the treatment. The spread of the disease had stopped. Her relief from the itching was better. There was no burning bothering her. Her skin was very dry. She was overall better with the medicines.
On 10th March 2016, the patient informed that she was further better with the medicines. Her itching had reduced than before. Her dryness was also less than before. Hyperpigmentation was still present on the skin, but the spots were not active. She also informed that she noticed one new spot under her breast from the last 10 days. She was experiencing a mild itching in it. On the basis of this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed further medicines to the patient.
On 6th May 2017, she was almost 60% better with the relief in her complaints. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. Her old spots were gradually fading. Her itching was less than before. The hyperpigmentation was reducing gradually. She was overall improving with the medicines.
On 24th June 2018, the patient reported being further better. There was further improvement observed in the relief from the complaint. Her relief from the itching had reduced up to 70% better. No new spots had appeared. And, there was no spread of the disease observed. Her health had overall improved with the medicines.
On 14th January 2019, the patient updated that she is almost 80% better now. Only hyperpigmented spots were present on the skin. There were no new spots or spreading. Her relief from the itching was better completely. Her skin was overall improved with the medicines. She was very happy as she was a beautician and, now, she can talk to the clients confidently, as her skin turned almost normal.
