Nephrotic Syndrome Of A 5-Year-Old Child Got Treated Effectively With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force
A 5-year-old girl Ms. N.G. (PIN: 33555) from Delhi started treatment online on 14th September 2017 for the complaint of Nephrotic syndrome.
She was suffering from it from the past 1 year. The parents of the patient gave a detailed history of their child online. She was suffering from the episodes of the nephrotic syndrome once in two months, and it never used to stop without steroids. The child was experiencing swelling all over her body. Whenever they tried to reduce the dose of steroids, she used to suffer from a relapse of the condition. The child was on a heavy dose of steroids. There was cold and cough occasionally present with the child. Her urine protein was positive on the investigation.
Her appetite had increased because of the side-effects of conventional medicines i.e. steroids. She had no specific desire for food, but she had a strong aversion to tomatoes. Her water intake was average. Her sleep was normal.
The parents of the patient reported that she was very sensitive by nature. She often cried very easily. And, the smallest things used to upset her.
She never suffered from any other major illnesses in the past. Her mother was suffering from hypertension and diabetes mellitus.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her Phosphorus 30 and some research-based homeopathic medicines. Dietary advice was also given along with the medicines.
Follow-Ups:
On 17th March 2018, the patient’s father updated the feedback. She was improving with the medicines. She did not experience any relapse after starting with homeopathic medicines. Her dose of steroids was gradually tapered off. Her urine protein was nil. There was no swelling present on her body. She was overall stable with the medicines.
On 1st August 2018, parents of the patient reported that she was further better. There was no relapse experienced by her since she started with the treatment, but her urine protein was positive a few days before. The swelling of the body was not present. The steroid dose was changed by the pediatrician as the urine protein was positive. Based on the feedback, Dr. Shah made some changes in the prescription and gave medicines.
On 5th February 2019, the patient was reported to be further better. She was completely off the steroids from the past 4-5 months. Even after stopping the steroids, no acute episodes were noticed affecting the patient. She was overall better with the homeopathic medicines and the disease was completely under control now.
On 1st July 2019, the patient was updated to be absolutely normal. She was completely off the steroids from the past 10 months and she was perfectly fine. No episodes of the nephrotic syndrome were experienced by her from the last 10 months. Occasional cold and cough were experienced by the child but the disease did not relapse. Her urine protein was nil. She was completely fine now.
