A 5-Year-Old Girl Found A Remarkable Improvement In Vitiligo With Homeopathy
A 4-year-old girl child, Ms. A.K. (PIN: 38692) visited Life Force Homeopathy’s Mulund branch on 28th November 2018 with her parents.
The child was suffering from unilateral vitiligo (i.e affecting only one side of the body) on most areas of the body. The right side was being affected in her case. The affected areas included her right shoulder, underarms, hands, and fingers. The patient was suffering from this condition for the last 3-4 months. Her vitiligo was spreading fast which led to new spots developing in new areas.
The patient had a family medical history of autoimmune diseases. Her father and both her grandparents (including maternal and paternal) suffered from Diabetes.
From the last 4 months, the child was following conventional treatment. It included applying steroidal creams, such as Mometasone. The patient was also applying the Ointment Tacrolimus daily. The condition was spreading with no relief.
Her parents decided to try Homeopathy as the child was very young. They were being concerned about the steroidal creams which she was using.
The detailed case history and details of the child were noted with the help of her parents. The condition was checked with Wood lamp's test conducted at the clinic. Dr. Shah studied and analyzed the case in detail and prescribed research-based vitiligo medications to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
By 14th February 2019, the spread of the condition was in control. The relief from the condition was better by around 20%. The disease activity was being brought under control. The previous spots were as it is. The use of steroidal cream was stopped within 2 months of starting with the homeopathic treatment. The use of other ointment was reduced to once in a week, unlike daily as earlier.
By June 2019, skin re-pigmentation (i.e. skin color returning in white spots) was noticed in some areas. The hypopigmented patches over the fingers and shoulders were responding very well to the medications. The overall improvement of the patient was around 20%-30%.
By August 2019, the recovery from the hypopigmented patches in other areas was showing improvement. The spots had reduced in size with the margins showing improvement in color.
The patient is currently continuing homeopathic treatment for a complete recovery. Her parents are very happy with the undergoing treatment and recovery achieved up till now.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating vitiligo in kids remarkably and safely without any side-effects.
