Dependency On Nerve Block Injection In A Trigeminal Neuralgia Patient Eliminated With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force
A 61-year-old female from Delhi, Mrs. A. K. (PIN: 28110) started treatment from Life Force Homeopathy online for her complaint of Trigeminal neuralgia on 16th August 2016.
The patient was suffering from trigeminal neuralgia for the last five years. She was suffering from pain on the left side of her face. She was taking treatment for tooth pain, but, later on, it was diagnosed as Trigeminal neuralgia. Her pain was very severe and shocklike. The pain used to start from the left side of the jaw and travel to the eye and the left side of her forehead. It used to occur many times a day. The duration of pain was approximately 20-30 seconds.
The pain was very severe and intense. Often, it used to get triggered during the face wash and head bath. The patient was taking nerve block injection once a year and also painkiller tablets when her pain was severe.
Her appetite was average. She had no specific craving for food and drinks. Her thirst was average. Her sleep was normal and refreshing.
She was a manager and was satisfied with her job. She was staying with her husband and two sons. The patient was very anxious and restless
.
The patient had no history of any other illnesses. Also, there were no major illnesses present in her family.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines.
Follow-Ups:
On 2nd August 2017, after 1 year of homeopathic treatment, the patient was feeling better with the medicines. The frequency and intensity of her pain were gradually reduced. Initially, the patient used to get pain even after taking nerve block injection, but, now, it was not there. She was better for 1 year, but the pain began again and it was very severe. So, the patient went for a nerve block injection. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah made some changes in the medicines and prescribed them to the patient.
On 18th August 2018, the patient reported that she was almost 50% better with the medicines. The frequency and duration of her pain had reduced. She had stopped taking all painkiller medicines and was only on Homeopathy. The patient was not experiencing much pain, but she repeated nerve block injection, as it was advised by her physician, and, as she feared that if she will not take it then the pain will again start. She was feeling overall better with the medicines. It was advised to the patient not to take the injection in the future, as she is much better with homeopathy only.
On 18th July 2019, the patient reported being further better. She was completely better with the medicines. The frequency of her pain had fully subsided now. She had stopped conventional medicines and was now only on Homeopathy. The patient had not taken a nerve block injection after September 2018. She was overall stable with the medicines.
On 24th October 2020, the patient updated being 100% percent now. The pain was no longer present. Nerve block injection was last taken in September 2018. Now, she was only on Homeopathic medicines. The patient and her family were happy with the progress in her relief and recovery.

Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating painful trigeminal neuralgia incredibly and safely without any side-effects. Homeopathy helps eliminate the dependency on nerve block injection completely and promote complete relief in pain resulting due to trigeminal neuralgia.
