A Steroid Dependent Psoriasis Of An 8-Year-Old Child Relieved By 80% In 4 Months With Homeopathy At Life Force

An 8-year-old boy, Master P.S.J. (PIN: 41960) visited Life Force Homeopathy with his father for the treatment of his complaints of Psoriasis, which he was suffering from the last 3 years now. He was on oral steroidal tablets & local steroidal applications. This was suppressing his Psoriasis in one place, but spread in the different parts of the body was occurring. He was experiencing scaling, dryness, itching, cracks, & bleeding in the patches. His psoriasis was still in the spreading stage. His complaints used to increase in the winter season, so his fingertips were all peeled off with tremendous pain & bleeding. He had no other history of illness in the past. Also, there was no history of illness in his family. The father of the patient was quite worried about his son’s condition & felt sorry for his situation. He used to itch throughout the day. He came to us after he heard very good results of Homeopathic treatment.
The patient’s further case details were taken for the prescription, and they are as follows.
He had a mixed diet and had an average appetite. He liked to have more spicy food & sweets, fruits, & some fried junk food. He did not have an aversion to any kind of food or taste. He had sweating only over the palms, soles, & scalp. He was intolerant to the heat & summers. His bowel movements were normal, & he did not have any urinary problems either. His height & weight corresponded to his age.  He was born out of full-term normal delivery, with a birth weight of 2.9 kgs. He was breastfed for 2 years. His milestones were all as per the age & immunization too as per the schedule. He had a good sound sleep with no disturbances or interruptions. He had no dreams.
He was a very happy child with a good childhood. He had very good relations with his parents & relatives. He was very mild, gentle, & shy, & he had a good sharp memory. He was friendly, extroverted, and happy-go-lucky. He had the fear of dogs.
The case of the child was studied by Dr. Rajesh Shah, MD. &, based on the case details, he prescribed the patient 6 weeks of the research-based homeopathic medicines. Some investigations too were suggested to the patient based on which the supplements were prescribed to him for a specified period.
Follow-Ups:
At the 1st follow-up of the patient, the bleeding & peeling of his fingers had stabilized slightly, & he had experienced an overall relief in his dryness & itching by 25%. So, based on the feedback, a further homeopathic prescription was made for the next six weeks.
At the 2nd follow-up, his Psoriasis had slightly flared-up & the itching & scaling had increased suddenly, as the patient had abruptly stopped the steroidal medicines without consulting. The patient was told to continue the steroidal medicines by slightly tapering them off. He was advised to reduce the frequency of the steroid usage gradually & not suddenly as it will cause a steroid-withdrawal effect. Again, a six-week prescription was made for the patient.
At the 3rd follow-up, the patient had got a relief of more than 80% in his Psoriasis. All his complaints of dryness, scaling, itching, cracks, and bleeding had completely settled, & only some dryness was left over the soles with mild itching. Also, the patient was completely off the steroids. Just moisturization was done. The patient is very happy with the treatment & is continuing with the medicines so that complete relief can be achieved & future recurrence can also be stopped.
Conclusion: 
This case’s success demonstrates how a chronic autoimmune disease like Psoriasis can be treated effectively in a short duration and safely with homeopathy. Homeopathy also negates the steroid addiction & frees the individual from the dependency on steroids.
