An 8-year-old boy from Mumbai, Mr. P. P. (PIN: 35718) visited Life Force Homeopathy and started its treatment for his complaints of adenoids on 15th February 2018.
The child was suffering from adenoids since 4 months. He was experiencing frequent episodes of the cold along with pain in the throat and ear. The frequency of his episodes was once in 10-15 days. During the episode, throat pain and ear pain used to bother him. The patient used to experience a sticky discharge from the nose. The child had developed the habit of snoring and mouth breathing at night. Often, the child was experiencing difficulty in swallowing during the episodes. He was responding to antibiotics but, as soon as antibiotics were stopped, he would suffer from a relapse. ENT surgeon had advised him to go for surgery as the episodes were frequent.
The child had an average appetite. He loved to eat sweets and disliked sour foods. His thirst for water was normal. The child’s sleep was sound and refreshing.
The patient was studying in school. He was staying with his parents and elder sister. The child was extroverted and very active.
The patient had not suffered from any major illnesses in the past. His father suffered from Urticaria.

Follow-Ups:
On 9th October 2018, the patient’s mother updated that he was better with the homeopathic medicines. The frequency of his episodes had reduced. His throat pain and ear pain also had reduced a lot. He no more experienced a sticky discharge from the nose. The child’s difficulty in swallowing had reduced. Mouth breathing and snoring were still present. The patient had experienced an overall improvement with the medicines. The child had stopped the treatment as he was better now.
On 25th May 2019, the patient’s mother reported that he was better, but, again from the last 20 days, his complaints had increased. He was suffering from pain in the throat and ear for the last few days. His snoring and mouth breathing had increased. He had not yet started with any antibiotics. After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah made some changes in the medicine and prescribed them to the patient. He was also advised not to stop the treatment in between and finish the complete course as advised.
On 6th May 2020, the patient’s mother reported that her child’s health had improved further with the medicines. No episode of cold or cough had affected him. The throat pain and ear pain were no longer present. Mouth breathing and snoring had reduced than before. The child was no more experiencing difficulty in swallowing. The child had experienced an overall recovery with our homeopathic medicines.
On 20th July 2021, the patient’s mother reported that the child was almost 100% better with the medicines. He had not experienced any episode of cold or cough for a long time. Mouth breathing was no longer present. He was able to sleep properly without snoring. The child was no longer experiencing any difficulty in swallowing. There was great improvement achieved with homeopathy and without any surgery.
