A Young Engineering Student Having Ankylosing Spondylitis Got A Great Relief From It With Homeopathy

A 23-years-old lean patient, Mr. B.J.S. (PIN 7565) came to Life Force center on 28th April 2008 for homeopathic treatment for his severe neck pain and left hip-joint pain. He was suffering from these pains from the last one and a half years, but it turned more intense since the last 6 months. He had done an MRI scan, which showed the possibility of inflammatory Sacro ilities. Dr. Rajesh Shah asked him to conduct a HLA B27 test, which came positive. He was finally diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis.

He was having severe left hip joint pain, neck pain, and backache. There was severe stiffness in his back and the left hip joint. He was experiencing difficulty in walking. He was on pain killer (Voveran 150mg per day) and some vitamin and calcium supplements. It was giving him a temporary relief.

He had allergic bronchitis in the past.

Mr B.J.S was a lean person. He had an intense craving for spicy food. All his complaints used to get worse in the cold weather.

He was a perfectionist by nature. He always liked to plan his schedule. He preferred to be in company always. He was having a lot of anticipatory anxiety. He used to get an attack of allergic bronchitis before his exams. He was an engineering student, and he was supposed to go to the US for post-graduation in about a month’s time.

Based on these details, Dr. Rajesh Shah had prescribed him research-based medicines.

Within one and a half months, he got a significant relief from pain and his dose of tablet Voveran was reduced to 50 mg per day.

In the next month, his dose of Voveran was reduced to 50 mg every alternate day. His stiffness was reduced significantly and the range of his movements improved.

After three to four months of following the treatment, we were able to reduce his dose of tablet Voveran to 50mg every third day.

In the next 2 months, his pain reduced significantly and he could stop having all the pain killers. He was slowly encouraged exercises and physiotherapy, and the boy is now in complete remission.

He continued his study in the US, by regularly receiving medicines from Life Force. He was exposed to extremely cold weather, but without any increase in the pain in the joints. He recovered completely. He is in remission, following only homeopathic medicines.

Conclusion:

This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in helping an individual with ankylosing spondylitis lead a pain-free life with an improved mobility, without any dependency on pain killers.
