Miss R. R. (Patient Identification Number - 12778) visited Life Force on 13th October 2009. She was suffering from continuous tonsillitis since past 2 months. She had recurring throat problem since 2 years. On examination there were few ulcerations seen on bilateral tonsils. The tonsils were red and swollen. Generally the throat irritation would be painless. She would feel burning while eating spicy food, cold drinks, cold weather. There was no difficulty in swallowing. She had taken few antibiotics course in the past, which would relieve her symptoms temporarily. She had started with over the counter homeopathic medicines since 2 months which did not give any relief. She had found about Dr. Shah through internet and decided to start the treatment for a permanent solution.

Her diet was mixed and appetite was average. She liked chocolates and rice. She would often feel thirsty. She was sensitive to cold weather. Her menses were regular and copious. Before menses she would have breast and abdomen pain. She also had mood swings.

She was staying in a nuclear family with parents and sister. She was a graduate in Arts and had done a diploma course in communication skills.

She was extrovert and loved socializing. She was career oriented and started working at an early age of 19 years while graduating. She was a keen listener and hence everybody would like to discuss their problems with her. She was attached and closer to father than mother. She was independent and opinionated person. She was soon going to get married.

She had suffered from Malaria in the past.

Her father was suffering from high blood pressure. Her mother had been operated for tonsils in her young age. Her sister was an asthmatic. Her maternal grandmother was a diabetic.

Her case details were studied by Dr. Shah and was prescribed Tuberculinum 1m single dose along with few research based medicines.

In her first follow up on 10th December 2009 she reported with considerable improvement in her complaints. The visible redness, swelling and ulcerations had disappeared. She would not feel much pain.

In her second follow up on 15th April 2010 she reported with significant relief in her Tonsillitis. The ulceration, redness or swelling was completely relieved. The occasional burning pain was nil. The cold weather or cold drink did not affect her.

She was happy with the progress and recovery with Dr. Shah's medication.
