It just took few minutes for homeopathic medicines to reduce my complaints.
Mr. A.K. (patient identification number 15033), a sales executive from Mumbai, India reported at Life Force Homeopathic clinic in October 2010. Since 2 months, he was suffering from severe intolerable itching on hands, legs and neck along with reddish eruptions. Whenever he used to scratch his body, that area would become red and inflamed. This itching – scratching – redness with inflammation was a daily affair for him and it would get worse after bathing. After studying the details, it was diagnosed as Urticaria.
He used to take anti-allergic medicines often, but these medicines helped him only for a while. It used to make him drowsy and sleepy. He could not afford such side effects as his job profile included continuous traveling across the city. So he stopped anti-allergic medicines. He searched the internet for a cure and found Dr Shah’s website www.urticaria.com while surfing on the internet.
Patient was a non vegetarian by choice and his appetite was normal. His water intake was average. He used to consume alcohol and tobacco but from the onset of the Urticaria, he stopped consuming both.
He had no problems in urination or bowel movements. He used to have sound and refreshing sleep.
Mr. A.K. was basically a calm, mild but anxious personality. He liked things to be neat and clean. If he came across something which was not in an organized manner, it would lead to anxiety and agitation which he would suppress.
Regarding past medical illnesses; he had chicken pox and jaundice 6 years ago. There was an episode of Typhoid 2 years ago. He recovered from all past medical ailments completely. His father had Diabetes mellitus, and his mother had ischemic heart disease.

Dr Shah studied his case personally and gave him constitutional medicine based on his disease details as well as body and mind details.
He was given medicines for 2 months. After 2 months when patient reported, he was happy to experience recovery. He was more than 70% better. He said that he was experiencing itching when he took medicines and to his surprise, within few minutes of consuming the pills, the itching subsided.
After 2 months, in February 2011, the complaints increased a bit because of the change in weather. He was given stronger dose of medicines and the result was further improvement.
He used to have severe itching daily before starting medicines and after 4-6 months of Dr Shah’s Homeopathic medicines, it was more than 80% better. After 8 months of treatment he could stop medicines without any further relapse.
Conclusion
Patient reported in first follow up that his itching was better within few minutes of taking Homeopathic medicines. Generally Homeopathic medicines take time to show initial positive response but it may vary from Patient to patient. This case demonstrates that Homeopathy is not only effective for chronic conditions, but even acute flare ups respond beautifully with it.
