Mr. A.N., a 28 years old general manager in a private company, resident of Mumbai, India, reported at Life Force in June 2011. Presenting complaints were stress headache since 3 months. Promotion to the post of general manager, added extra professional stress in his routine and that triggered the complaints.

Professional life getting hampered.

Stress headache, almost every day started hampering his efficacy, as he was not able to concentrate on his work. He used to get negative feedback from his seniors related to his projects. All this affected his sleep which reduced almost till 3-4 hrs only. There was just short time relief with pain killers which he would take daily.

Personal details

His appetite had gone down because of the present complaint. He had liking for sweets and meat. He had an addiction of smoking 5 cigarettes per day since the last 4 years. Sleep used to be disturbed due to headache and stress. Mr. N. would get recurrent scary dream, "as if somebody is pushing him from the train".

Patient as a person

He stays with his wife and son. He was basically of nervous and anxious nature. Once there was a major problem in his job. Since then the he had developed anticipatory anxiety of loosing job or that something bad would happen. There was continuous stress and also an associated guilt feeling that he could not give quality time to his family due to work pressure.

Past and family history of medical illness

Mr. A. N. had a healthy past with no major or minor history of medical illness. His family also was healthy except his grand mother who had a history of Diabetes Mellitus.

At Life Force

Above case details were studied by Dr Shah and the patient was given constitutional medicines for 2 months. During first follow up, patient reported happily with 80% relief in complaints.

Mr. A. N. reported enthusiastically about his improved efficiency at work. He said that he can concentrate better and though his stress level is same as before, he can handle his stress in a positive way without any episode of headache.
