Mrs. P.J. aged 26 years (Patient Identification Number: 16980) visited Life Force clinic on 14/09/2011 for the treatment of Fissure in ano.
She was suffering from Fissure-in-ano since 1.5 months. She had hard stools almost every day. During every stool she had pricking pain and required straining for stools. There were 4-5 episodes of bleeding with stools in last one month.
She was applying Anovate cream at anal region and was taking a painkiller which was giving minimum relief in her complaints. On examination, there was a small fissure measuring 1 inch at 12 o'clock position at anal region.
She was very anxious about her complaints and had developed a fear for passing stools, as she had to bear the pain and straining almost everyday.
