An Inhaler-Dependent Chronic Asthma Got Treated Effectively With Dr. Shah’s Research-Based Medications

Mr. R. J. D. (PIN 12249) visited our clinic on 1st June 2009. He was a handsome 37 years old gentleman. He had been suffering from asthma since his childhood. He had symptoms of breathlessness and throat irritation for 20 days in a month. He had been taking a Ventolin inhaler (Salbutamol; a non-steroidal bronchodilator) twice a day for the past 3 years. He had taken Asthalin and antihistamines in the past. He was genetically predisposed to asthma as most of his maternal family members were suffering from asthma. His asthma would get aggravated due to the cold food or drinks, strong odors, and perfumes.

He had a backache for 5 years. He also suffered from hair loss and premature greying of hair.

We treat patients from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE & 180 more countries. Get an expert opinion on your ailment, click here to ask Dr. Shah's team directly.

He also suffered from acidity and retrosternal burning. It used to get aggravated after having food and generally in the afternoon.

He liked sweets. He could not tolerate the warm temperature. His sleep was disturbed.
He was an IT professional working for a software company in New Zealand. His wife was a homemaker. His father was a retired consultant. His mother was a homemaker.

He was anxious and nervous as a person. He would easily get tense and worried about minor issues. He liked socializing. He did not have any major stress.

His father suffered from vocal cord cancer. His paternal grandfather was suffering from heart disease. His mother suffered from diabetes, psoriasis, and asthma. His maternal grandmother, aunt, and uncle suffered from asthma.

Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed Thuja Occidentalis 200c along with a few research-based medicines.

When he reported 6 weeks later on 13th July 2009, his asthma attacks had significantly reduced. He had stopped using Ventolin inhalers on a daily basis, for 10 days. He could not find much relief from his acidity and backache.

Later, he reported on 1st August 2009 with a further improvement in his asthma. He was now taking an inhaler 1 – 2 times/week. His relief from acidity and back pain was slightly better. His case was reviewed and he was prescribed Kali Carbonicum 200c.

He reported on 31st August 2009 with over 80% relief in his asthma. He was now taking an inhaler 3 – 4 times a month. His relief from acidity and backache had significantly improved. Dr. Shah reviewed the case details and further medicines were prescribed.

He reported after 3 years on 22nd October 2012 for getting a mild relapse in his asthma treated. He had suffered from a few minor attacks for the past 3 – 4 months. He had been well for all these years.

Conclusion:

When treated with homeopathy, the body’s own healing capacity is enhanced so that the human system does not react adversely to the allergens which are considered external factors affecting asthma. The dependency on inhalers and puffs can also be reduced. The person can stay symptom-free for a longer duration without any medication.

Asthma can be better managed with Homeopathy. Judicious use of inhalers for the acute episodes and Homeopathy for long-term management helped to give an optimum response.

This case illustrates how both sciences can be utilized without conflict of interest but in the common interest of the patient's well-being.
