Case-3: Happy to notice complete recovery with proper diagnosis

Mr. J.B 24 years old (Patient Identification Number- 18100) visited Life Force center on 28 January 12 for the treatment of Acne. He was taking conventional treatment since past 6 months for acne. He had acne on face and back. After examination it was found that along with acne he had molluscum contagiosum on left cheek and forehead which was not diagnosed earlier and was treated as acne.

Dr Shah explained the disease condition and after thorough case taking prescribed medicines for 6 weeks. At first follow up (March 12) Mr J.B reported that his acne was 30% better. The rate of new pimples had reduced. Itching and mild pain was reduced completely. Size of molluscum remained same.

At 4 months follow up (May 12) Patient reported with 50% improvement in Acne and 40% improvement in molluscum. The size of molluscum had reduced and more importantly no new lesion was seen. At 6 months follow up (July 12) Patient reported that molluscum was 90% better but there was a slight increase in acne. Dr Shah increased the power of medicines.

At 8 months follow up (sept 12) Mr J.B reported with 100% improvement. Patient and parents were very happy to notice complete recovery with proper diagnosis made by Dr Shah.
