Dr. Shah’s Homeopathy Cured Alopecia Areata Of A Teen Girl & Helped Her Regain Confidence
A 15-years-old young girl, Ms. S.A.B. (PIN 10892) visited Life Force, accompanied by her parents, on 8th July 2008 for the treatment of alopecia areata. She was introduced to Life Force by a doctor.
She presented with the complaints of hair loss from the frontal hair margins, eyebrows, eye-lashes, and forearms since 1.5 years. She was experiencing more than 50-100 strands of hair loss per day. She had complete hair loss on her eyebrows in the past 6 months, but some hair had regrown on the eyebrows since 3 months after following a conventional treatment. There was no hair regrowth over her eye-lashes. She also had complaints of premature graying of hair. Her thyroid profile was within the normal limits. She was using minoxidil lotion on the scalp. She had also taken oral steroidal medications and other conventional medications for a long time in the past, but that didn’t help her obtain a significant improvement. She also had complaints of abdominal pain along with nausea during menses since 3 years. Her parents and the patient were greatly tensed as her disease had not been under control even after following the conventional treatment. She had an average appetite, and she was following a mixed diet. She had a peculiar liking for sour food. She was sensitive to the cold climate. Her bowel movements were irregular. Her thirst, perspiration, urination, and sleep were normal. Her menses was regular.
She was studying in 10th grade. Her father was a civil contractor, and her mother was a homemaker. Her younger brother was studying in grade 3.
On observation, she was a mild and shy person. She would get irritable easily. She did not express her anger. She was fearful and anxious by nature. She was good in studies. She was fair and good-looking with delicate features.
Her maternal grandfather suffered from diabetes mellitus. She did not have any major illness in the past.
Her photos were taken. Her case was studied by Dr. Shah in detail, and she was prescribed Phosphorus 30c and research-based medicine for her alopecia areata.
After 4 months of the homeopathic treatment, she visited Life Force for a follow-up. She reported 40% improvement in her relief from the complaints. There was a considerable recovery in her hair loss. Her hair fall was much under control. Some hair growth was seen at her eyelashes and eyebrows.
