Case-2: Homeopathy helps to resolve the Fibroadenomas and avoids surgery
Mrs D. J. (Patient Identification Number 13493), a 53 year old lady, reported to Life Force on 23rd March 2010. She had come for the complaints of Fibroademona. She complained of pain and swelling in her right breast. Her complaints started with mild pain and heaviness in the right breast since 2006-07. She was diagnosed as Fibroademona in the right breast on 3rd March 2010 . She was operated for Sebaceous cyst a year before she developed these complaints. The bilateral mamography and sonomammography revealed 0.6*0.3 cm sized hypoechoic lesion in right breast at 11 o'clock position.
She was suggested surgery by her Gynecologist, however one of her relatives suggested her to take homeopathic treatment at Life Force.
Personal details:
She had craving for chocolates and her thirst was considerably decreased. She was very sensitive to hot weather and could not take the hot climate at all. Her bowel habits were unsatisfactory.
She was a middle aged lady; averagely built with a wheat complexion. She and her husband were into telemarketing. She had an inter-caste marriage. She used to organize exhibitions all over India. She has a son who is 23 years old and is pursuing studies in engineering. She was a confident and expressive person who was very precise in communication. She had good relations with every one, however, she some times felt deprived of love from her near and dear ones. She was mixing and social and got along well with everyone. She was sensitive by nature and if any one hurt her, she would break that relation. For her love and affection were more important than money or fame. Though she was very successful in her life, she craved for love, affection and appreciation in each relationship. Her son was very supportive and she shared a good bond.
Past history:
She had undergone an hysterectomy in 1999 due to bulky uterus and pain. Family history: Her father had suffered from cancer of lungs and asthma, mother had cancer and her paternal aunt had cancer of the stomach. On examination it was revealed that she had bilateral lobed, large and mildly tender fibroids in both her breasts. Dr Shah examined her and studied her case in detail and prescribed Silicea 200 and alongwith his research based medicine.
Follow up details:
After the administration of these medicines the size of the fibroadenomas was stabilized and their further growth was halted. However there was a mild pain in the right breast. After 4 months of treatment, a mammography was repeated which showed that that the lump size had reduced by 0.1 cm.
Dr. Shah upgraded the prescription The mammography dated 17/7/2010 revealed lump size 0.6*0.2 cm which had reduced and which proved that she was on the path of recovery. She also had no evidence of pain even while sleeping on her chest. The prescription was continued as per the earlier follow up. In the subsequent follow ups her pain in right breast was almost gone. She continued treatment for about 3 years, after which all her complaints have disappeared. There has been no recurrence of any of the breast lumps, which she had before starting the treatment.
This case depicts the example that surgery is not always an ultimate option for all types benign tumors. There are ample opportunities available where by one can save oneself from the surgeon’s knife. Homeopathy helps to resolve the Fibroadenomas and also help to prevent recurrences in many cases.
