    Incredible Recovery From Oral Lichen Planus Found With Homeopathy At Life Force

    A 38-year-old man from Prabhadevi, Mumbai (PIN: 31796) visited Life Force clinic in the month of April 2017 for the treatment of his complaints of oral lichen planus.

    He was suffering from oral lichen planus for the past one year. His lesions were present on the inner side of the cheek, tongue, below the tongue, and roof of the mouth. He had developed black patches on the inner side of his cheek, and he was experiencing burning and pricking pain while eating normal food, onion, garlic, rice, and spicy food. He was suffering from the itching in the patches and stiffness in his jaw/cheek in the morning. Extreme heat and cold used to increase the pain.

    There was no complaint of lichen planus affecting the external skin of his body. He was taking multivitamins and conventional medicines from one year, yet his condition was as it is. Also, he was suffering from obesity. His weight was 91 kgs during the start of his homeopathic treatment, and his weight was later reduced with diet management.

    He was a vegetarian by diet. He had an average appetite He had no complaints with regards to his urine. His stools were satisfactory. His sleep was disturbed.

    He was a priest. His wife was a homemaker. He had one daughter, who was studying in a school. 
    He had a past history of malaria and renal calculi. His father suffered from ischemic heart disease, and his mother was suffering from hypothyroidism.

    After studying his case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines.

    Follow-Ups:
    On 15th May 2017, the patient reported that he was 50% better than earlier with the medicines. The burning sensation, which was affecting him, had reduced significantly. The white lines which were present on his inner cheeks and tongue were reducing gradually. He was overall better with the medicines.

    On 28th August 2017, the patient updated that he was 50% to 60% better with the medicines. His gums were better than before.

    On 28th March 2018, the patient reported that he was 70% to 80% better than earlier. The lesions on the inner side of his cheeks, tongue, below the tongue, and roof of the mouth, as well as the black patches on the inner side of his cheeks, had reduced gradually by 70% to 80%. Also, the itching in the patches and stiffness of the jaw/cheeks had reduced significantly.

    On 19th September 2018, the patient reported that he is better with a stable condition.

    On 19th January 2019, the patient reported that he was further better. His relief from all the symptoms had improved, and his condition was stable.

    On 20th March 2019, the patient reported that he was almost recovered from oral lichen planus, and he wanted to meet Dr. Shah for continuing the treatment to maintain the stability. The patient was very happy with the results he got after consuming the homeopathic medicines. He was not required to take any conventional medicines after starting with homeopathy.
