Lichen Planus Treated At Life Force With 80% Recovery Of A 12-Year-Old

A 12-year-old boy, Master. H. (PIN: 39828) visited Life Force in April 2019 for treating his complaint of Lichen Planus.

The patient's legs, hands, chest, back, and face were affected by the disease since 1.5 years. He had dark purplish thickened lesions on his affected body areas. He was also suffering from the itching and dryness of the skin.

He had a history of using steroid-based medicines but got no relief. He had stopped all conventional medicines, after which his complaint had increased. When he visited Life Force, he was on Ayurvedic medication which he stopped after starting our medication.

Besides this, he had no other complaint. His father was having lichen planus pigmentosa, for which he had started treatment at Life Force.

    Physical Generals:

He was a non-vegetarian and liked spicy foods. He didn't like sweets. His thirst, bowel movements, and perspiration were normal. His sleep was sound.

    Mental Generals:

He was talkative and liked making friends. He had the stage-fear. He was active and he liked playing football. He was short-tempered and would get angry when he won’t get what he wants. He had a lack of concentration in studies.

As per his condition and based on his case details, an appropriate research-based molecule of Dr. Rajesh Shah was prescribed to the patient.

    Follow-Ups:

In June 2019, he visited our clinic to report about his condition. His relief in the skin condition had improved by 20%. No new lesions had appeared. His relief in all the lesions was better. He had experienced good relief in itching, dryness, and thickness which proved that he responded well to our homeopathic medicine.

After following the homeopathic treatment for 4 months, he visited our clinic for his third follow-up in November 2019. His condition had further improved by 50%. He hardly experienced any itching. His skin had turned softer and the dryness had reduced. Most of his active spots had converted into an inactive form. Hyperpigmentation was also reducing. No thickened skin was present.

When he gave his last follow-up in February 2020, further improvement was observed in his recovery. Overall 80% improvement was observed in his recovery from lichen planus. Hyperpigmentation on his face, hands, and chest had faded immensely. No new eruptions had appeared in this duration.

He was recovered 80% from lichen planus. The patient no more experienced itching, and his skin turned smoother. His parents were very happy with the result. He is continuing his treatment at Life Force for further recovery along with following the dietary management.

    Conclusion:

This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus immensely and safely without any side-effects.
