Based on the case history, Dr. Shah prescribed the patient his research-based medicines.

On his first follow-up on 20th September 2017, his condition had got aggravated due to his past steroid-based treatment. New patches had developed on his cheeks.

When he visited for his second follow-up on 30th October 2017, improvement in his recovery from the lesions on his Lt cheek and vertex was observed.

On his third follow-up on 5th December 2017, his recovery from all the lesions showed more improvement by 50%.

The patient gave his fifth follow-up on 12th March 2018. After some gap, there was aggravation seen only on his scalp lesions.

On his next follow-up on May 2018, the patient showed a 75% improvement in recovery from all his scalp lesions.

During his next follow-up on July 2018, an aggravation was again observed in his condition due to the stress.

For 2-3 months, the condition remained the same due to underlying stress.

The latest follow-up of the patient in October 2018 showed a 90% improvement in his recovery from the condition.

Conclusion:
This case highlights that some cases of Lichen Planus take time to show good results due to many underlying factors that act as a maintaining factor for the disease. In this case, it was the underlying stress which affected the patient. Homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planopilaris successfully and safely without any side-effects.
