Homeopathy treats Alopecia Areata within a short span of time

    A 36-year-old man, Mr. A.A. (PIN: 35661) visited the Borivali branch of Life Force on 12th June 2018 to show a small bald patch present in his occipital area. He was already taking treatment for Psoriasis at Life Force. The doctor explained to him about alopecia areata. He said that he needed some time to think about it. On 16th June 2018, Mr. A.A. visited the Borivali branch to start the treatment for Alopecia areata. He had noticed this small patch on his scalp accidentally a week ago. There was no irritation. No other area, except this small area, was affected. He complained of itching on the scalp from the last 15 days.

    Along with alopecia areata, Mr. A.A. also had Psoriasis and Hypothyroidism which was accidentally detected during his routine examination. He has been taking treatment for his other complaints too at Life Force.

    Mr. A.A. was a vegetarian. He had a sweet tooth and craving for spicy food and milk. He did not like to eat anything sour. He could not bear the summers or hot weather.

    Mr. A.A. was a businessman and stayed with his parents, wife, and son. He had a happy and well-supported childhood. His teenage life was good too. He was happy and settled in life but was experiencing a little stress due to his business.

    His parents suffered from Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus. His mother was suffering from Hypothyroidism also.

    In the past, Mr. A.A. had suffered from Pulmonary TB, Pleural effusion, and Chickenpox.

    Mr. A.A. is a mild, gentle, polite, and expressive person but was very precise while narrating his symptoms. He was emotionally very sensitive would not express his feelings readily to everybody. He always had anticipatory anxiety and used to take tension about little things.

    Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed his research-based to the patient.

    Follow-Ups:

    In the first follow-up, on 31st July 2018, Mr. A.A. said there was a 50% improvement in his recovery from the patch. There was no new patch developed, and he was experiencing a recovery from the previous patch.

    On the 4th September 2018, Mr. A.A. reported that there was further improvement in his recovery from the patch. There was new hair growth in the bald patch. The patch was almost covered with hair.

    Mr. A.A., on the 9th of October 2018 while giving the follow-up, said the patch was almost gone.

    On 22nd November 2018, the bald patch had vanished. There was no evidence that there would have been a bald patch there.

    Mr. A.A. reported again on 24th December 2018. The patch was still non-existent. No new bald patches were found.

    On 4th February 2019, the patch was not visible. It was covered with hair growth. No other patches were visible.

    On 4th March 2019, when Mr. A.A. reported for the feedback, there was a 100% improvement in his recovery from the bald region. He had experienced a complete recovery from the bald patch.

    On 24th May 2019, Dr. Shah suggested that Mr. A.A. does not need any further treatment for alopecia areata. Mr. A.A is glad that he started with the treatment at the right time, and he could experience wonderful results of homeopathy.

    Conclusion: 
    This case illustrates that homeopathy can successfully treat cases of alopecia areata within a short span if the treatment is started at the right time.
