80% Relief From Lichen Planus With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force

A 27-year-old female from Gujarat, Mrs. H.Z (PIN: 23454) started homeopathic treatment from Life Force in the month of August 2014 for her complaint of Lichen Planus.

She was suffering from lichen planus for the past 7-8 years. The spots were present mainly on her legs, hands, abdomen, and back. She was experiencing a lot of itching on the skin. The itching was very intense all the time. There was burning also present on the skin, particularly after scratching. She was taking conventional medicine for many years and was also applying steroidal cream for many years, but she got no relief with it. She was also having anemia, for which she was on iron supplements. 

Her appetite was average, and she had specific desires for fruits and spicy food. She had a strong disliking for sweets. Her thirst for water was average. Her perspiration was profuse on the whole body. Her sleep was normal.

She was working as a teacher in a school. She was short-tempered and used to get irritated easily. There was stress present with regards to her marriage. 

She never had any other major illnesses in the past. Her father was suffering from Thyroid disorders. 

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines. 

Follow-Ups:
On 20th August 2015, the patient reported that she is 40% to 50% better in her relief from the complaint. No new spots of lichen planus had developed on her skin after starting with the treatment. The spread of the disease had almost stopped. Her relief from itching was better. The hyperpigmentation was present on the skin, and it was more visible on her legs now. She was overall better with the medicines. She had totally stopped all the conventional medicines and had stopped applying all steroid ointments. She was applying a non-medicated moisturizer on her skin as advised by Dr. Shah. 

On 21st September 2016, the patient informed that she was further better with the medicines. Her relief from the complaints was almost 50% better, but, for the past 15 days, her itching was increased. Her itching had reduced than before but, for the past 15 days, it had increased. Hyperpigmentation was still present on the skin, but the spots were not active. On the basis of this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed her further medicines. 

On 20th September 2017, she was almost 60% better with her complaints. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. The itching was reduced a lot. Her old spots were fading gradually. The hyperpigmentation was also reducing now. She was overall improving with the medicines. 

On 24th October 2018, the patient reported being further better. Her recovery from lichen planus had improved by almost 70% now. Her itching has reduced. No new spots or the spread of the disease was noted. There were only hyperpigmented spots present on her skin now. Her health was overall improved with the medicines. 

On 28th May 2019, the patient updated that she is almost 80% better now. Only hyperpigmented spots were present on the skin. There were no new spots or spread of the disease present. Her relief from the itching was completely better. She had overall improved with the medicines.

Conclusion:
