A Patient Of Lichen Planus Recovered By Over 80% With Homeopathy

A female patient, Mrs. A.T. (PIN: 39731) visited Life Force Homeopathy with the complaints of Lichen Planus on 29th March 2019.

She had complaints of lesions in the oral cavity since December 2018. The lesion appeared first in her oral cavity in December 2018 and then, in March 2019, they appeared on both her forearms, both the knee joints, genitals, and the abdomen. The lesions were very small circular, dark purple, and 2-3 in number and appeared along with the burning and itching. In the mouth, white lacy lesions were present on the buccal mucosa and palate. She was not able to eat hot and spicy food. She was taking steroids.

She was a non-vegetarian. She had no specific craving for any food, but she disliked sweets.

She was very confident, and she liked to talk a lot. She used to turn irritable. She was angry by nature, but her anger was not expressed. She was very anxious about her disease. She was nervous and had anxiety about trifles.

After a detailed case analysis, Dr. Shah prescribed research-based medicines to the patient.

Follow-Ups:

On her first follow-up on 11th May 2019, she reported that she was more than 50% better but she was taking steroids. So, she was advised to taper off the steroid doses gradually and was also explained that after stopping steroids the lesions may flare-up.

On 28th August 2019, she said that her lesions had increased in the last 10 days. She had stopped steroids completely now. New spots had appeared on her tongue, but the lesions on her hands, legs, and abdomen had vanished completely.

On 23rd October 2019, she told that her recovery from the old lesions in the oral cavity was more than 50% better, but new lesions had appeared on her lips and mouth.

On 4th January 2020, the patient mentioned that only slight dryness and itching in the genital area were present, and recovery from the rest all lichen planus lesions was better.

On 6th March 2020, the patient reported that her relief in the old lesions in her mouth was better by more than 70%. Only one lesion on her palate was present in the last 4-5 days.

On 30th April 2020, she mentioned that she was feeling much better by almost 80% improvement in her recovery from lichen planus. Only the lesion on her palate was recurring.

The patient is very happy with the treatment received at Life Force.

Conclusion:

This case illustrates that homeopathy works wonderfully in treating autoimmune diseases, such as Lichen planus, where there is no concrete cure. It helps patients to get relief in the complaints effectively and safely without any side-effects.
