This is a drug prepared from a plant commonly known as pink root. Syphillinum:
This is a drug that is prepared from the syphilitic virus by the process of potentization. It belongs to a group of homeopathic drugs called Nosodes which are prepared from disease products or diseased tissues. The remedy prescribed does not contain the original drug substance in the material form but it contains only the dynamic powers of that substance. This is achieved through the process of potentization in homeopathy.
Syphillinum is a deep-acting, polychrest remedy affecting multiple systems of the body.

Cinchona officinalis (China):
China is a drug prepared from the Peruvian bark. This is the first drug that was introduced in homeopathy by the founder Dr Hahnemann. It is a deep-acting remedy having a profound action on blood, nervous tissue, glands, gastrointestinal tract, lungs, and reproductive organs.
China is frequently used in the treatment of neuralgic pains, anemia, hemorrhages, debilitating illnesses, fevers, dyspepsia, asthma, etc.
To describe a few of the important symptoms of China:
There is marked debility in the patient due to the loss of vital fluids. The patient is weak nervous and oversensitive to pain. The periodicity of the complaints is marked with complaints recurring every alternate day and symptoms getting invariably worse at night. Pains are worse from touch, a draft of air, and from jerky movements.
This remedy acts on the deeper parts of the system and removes the tendency to develop chronic debilitating illnesses.
Platina:
This remedy is prepared by potentization of the metal Platinum. It is a deep-acting constitutional drug having positive influences on various systems of the body. Predominantly affects the nervous system and the female reproductive system. It has a special affinity for Trigeminal, vagus, and sensory nerves. Some of the common indications for Platina are given below:
Violent, cramping, numbing pains, later progressing to spasms.
Painful tremors and spasms. Coldness and numbness of the face, sensation as if squeezed in a vise.
Oversensitive state of mind and nerves.
Pains come gradually and go gradually.

Cedron:
This is a remedy that is prepared from rattlesnake beans and is one of the very good remedies used for Trigeminal neuralgia. It's a remedy with the predominant affection of nerves. An important striking feature of this remedy is neuralgic pains occurring periodically at the same time every day. Neuralgia affects the first division of the trigeminal nerve causing pains across the forehead and around the eyes. Intense pain that is worse in the open air and worse after sleep. The periodicity of complaints is the hallmark of this wonderful drug used for TN.
Sanguinaria Canadensis:
This remedy is prepared from the roots of the plant Sanguinaria Canadensis. It is a remedy with a predominant affinity for the right side. Facial neuralgia on the right side is better by kneeling and by pressing the head against the floor. Facial pain on the right side extends in all directions and is accompanied by redness and burning of the cheeks.
Aranea diadema:
This is a wonderful remedy for Trigeminal neuralgia and has been found very useful in many cases of TN. The patient gets neuralgic pains which are worse in a damp climate and worse in cold weather. The pain gets worse around the afternoon and at midnight and is better by pressure. The pain returns periodically i.e. the neuralgic attacks occur at the same hour every day, every other day, week, month, or at regular intervals. Violent, sudden pains like electric shocks. Pain in the right trigeminal nerve from the periphery inwards. Sudden violent pain in teeth at night immediately after lying down. The sensation is of enormous enlargement or of numbness of parts.
Verbascum:
This homeopathic remedy is prepared from Mullein Oil and is one of the very good remedies for Trigeminal neuralgia. It is commonly used for colds and catarrhs, spasmodic effects, and neuralgic pains. Verbascum is also a good remedy for nocturnal enuresis, Acute Otitis, deafness, earache.
It is a specific remedy for Neuralgia of the Inferior branch of the Trigeminal Nerve.
Patients suffer from pains that are benumbing, pinching, pressing, stitching, squeezing, cramping. Neuralgia affects the left side of the face with lachrymation.
Magnesia phosphorica:
This drug is prepared by the potentization of Phosphate of Magnesia. It is one of the very good homeopathic remedies used to control pain. This drug is commonly used for Angina pectoris, Chorea, Cramps, Dysmenorrhoea (membranous), Enteralgia, Flatulent colic, Goiter, Neuralgias, Nystagmus, Sciatica, Toothache, Vertigo, Whooping cough, Writer's cramps, etc.
A few of its common indications in trigeminal neuralgia are:
Supra or infra-orbital facial neuralgia, especially right-sided neuralgic pains. Pain occurs in unbearable paroxysms, lightning-like pains, driving the patient to a frenzy. Pains are cramping, shooting, spasmodic, sharp, cutting, stabbing; they come and go suddenly.
A patient has a great dread of cold air, of uncovering or touching the affected part. Neuralgic pains relieved by warmth.
Plumbum Metallicum:
Plumbum Metallicum is broad-spectrum medicine having action on multiple systems and hence useful for various diseases such as neurological disorders, kidney diseases, neuromuscular diseases as well as certain mucocutaneous diseases such as Lichen planus. It is also indicated in some forms of paralytic disorder, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic constipation, and depressive diseases. When used in the minute homeopathic doses, it is non-toxic and does not produce adverse effects even if used for a long time.
